For the Fibbionary app by Lunchbox Labs. Last updated November 2, 2026.

These are the house rules for using Fibbionary. By installing or playing the app you agree to them.

1. The game

Fibbionary is a bluffing word game. Whether a word counts is decided by the app's dictionary and, when enabled, outside sources such as Wikipedia. Those verdicts are part of the game and are final within a game. We make no promise that the dictionary is complete or that every verdict matches any other dictionary.

2. Who can play

You must be 13 or older to play online with other people. Younger players may play on a single phone with family. A parent or guardian is responsible for any use by a minor.

3. Nicknames and conduct

Pick a nickname that isn't offensive, doesn't impersonate someone else, and isn't someone's personal information. In rooms with other people, be decent. We may remove nicknames or block devices that break these rules, and the Report and Block features exist for exactly that.

4. Your stuff and ours

The app, its characters, voices, artwork and name belong to Lunchbox Labs. You may use the app for personal play. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute it, or use its characters and voices outside the app. Third-party components are credited in the app's About screen under their own licences.

5. Purchases and ads

This version has no purchases and no ads. If a future version offers a purchase such as Remove Ads, the purchase is handled by the app store you bought it from, under that store's refund rules.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available, bug-free, or that a particular word will be judged a certain way. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lunchbox Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, if anything.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, the app will tell you. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, and any dispute will be handled in the courts there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
